It received the <strong>highest grade (&#8220;A&#8221;)<\/strong> in <strong>8 out of 29 indicators<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>University of Crete<\/strong> and the <strong>University of the Aegean<\/strong> follow with six indicators each.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notably, seven Greek universities received the highest grade in at least five indicators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About U-Multirank<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>U-Multirank is the <strong>first global multidimensional ranking<\/strong> that allows users to create their own personalized ranking by selecting performance indicators for teaching and learning, international orientation, knowledge transfer, regional engagement, and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Universities can use U-Multirank data to assess their strengths and weaknesses, develop or refine their strategic plans, and improve their performance in areas such as collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recognition of NKUA\u2019s Multidimensional Contributions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The significant distinctions achieved by NKUA in this ranking underscore its <strong>multifaceted academic and research work<\/strong> and its strong connections with the international community and economic stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ranking reflects the <strong>outward-looking nature<\/strong>, <strong>collaborative dynamism<\/strong>, and <strong>contributions<\/strong> of the institution to <strong>economic and social development<\/strong> at national and regional levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Global Recognition and CIVIS Contribution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>NKUA\u2019s advancement in this ranking compared to 2020 and its <strong>top 25 global position in collaboration<\/strong> are partly attributed to its active participation in the <strong>CIVIS European University of Citizens<\/strong> network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>European Commission<\/strong> highlighted that European universities collaborate more intensively than universities in other regions of the world, particularly in areas such as teaching and learning, research, knowledge exchange, and internationalization (e.g., staff and student mobility, joint degrees, and publications).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically, universities participating in <strong>European University Alliances<\/strong> tend to collaborate more extensively with other institutions, businesses, industries, governments, and regional or cross-border bodies, outperforming universities that place less emphasis on collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more details, <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/executive-programs-nea-To-ekpa-sto-top-25-2021.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/executive-programs-nea-To-ekpa-sto-top-25-2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Collaboration Dimension The Collaboration dimension, which highlights and evaluates the cooperative performance of each institution, is assessed by U-Multirank based on the following seven criteria: NKUA\u2019s Distinctions in U-Multirank NKUA is the top-ranked Greek university among the 14 Greek institutions included in the ranking.
